Frapart will be joined by assistant referees Nuza Backe of Brazil and Karen Diaz Medina of Mexico at the Al Bayt Stadium on Thursday.

Frapart has previously refereed Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions League games.

Fraparte said: "Since I started, I have always been supported by the teams, clubs and players. I was always welcomed in the stadium, so I felt like another referee inside

FIFA named three female referees in its list of 36 for the competition, with Rwanda's Salima Mukansanga and Japan's Yoshimi Yamashita also in Qatar.
