U.S. is a crucial market for ClearVue Technologies as it prepares for commercialization.

Martin Dell, CEO of ClearVue Technologies, spoke with Steve Darling from Proactive about the business’ cutting-edge glass technology. Advanced glass technology created by ClearVu combines transparency with the capacity to produce electricity from windows. By adding solar PV cells to the borders of insulated glass units (IGUs), which are used in windows, this method enables buildings to utilise solar energy without sacrificing aesthetics.

Dell emphasised ClearVue’s planned enlargement of its product line to satisfy expanding market demands. The company is able to offer a wide variety of sustainable construction solutions that cover the full building envelope since it has in-licensed photovoltaic systems for the spandrel gap and wall cladding. Additionally, ClearVue Technologies tested its Gen-2 PV integrated glazing units at the Building and Construction Authority’s Skylab facility in Singapore over a four-week period, contrasting their performance with that of a control cell.

The results demonstrated the energy-saving potential of ClearVue’s technology, with a reduction in cooling energy usage of 22.8% and a reduction in total building energy consumption of 6.1%. This cutting-edge glass technology has the potential to revolutionise the construction sector by improving the energy efficiency of structures without sacrificing their visual appeal.
