US uranium portfolio greatly expanded by Peninsula Energy

Just 20 kilometres northeast of its advanced-stage Lance Project in Wyoming, Peninsula Energy Ltd.’s (ASX:PEN, OTCQB:PENMF) CEO Wayne Heili tells Proactive that the business has added the recently founded Dagger Project to its portfolio of US uranium projects. The Dagger Project is a strong addition to Peninsula’s portfolio, with an initial inferred mineral resource estimate of 6.9 million pounds of uranium at an average grade of 1,037 parts per million. The Dagger Project is situated adjacent to a historically productive uranium mining location over a vast expanse of 4,140 acres.

Heili stated: “We are thrilled to have finished this fruitful long-term acquisition initiative. It has led to the creation of the Dagger Project, which has a 6.9 million-pound initial JORC-inferred U3O8 mineral resource estimate.”

Significantly, Dagger is only 20 kilometres from our Lance Project facilities, offering the business a fantastic chance to expand the scope of our already substantial inventory of mineral resources.

“We have used our internal knowledge and expertise to expand our project pipeline, driven by the strong uranium market that offers a conducive atmosphere for re-emerging producers and project developers.”
