According to an organiser, pharmacy staff at several Walgreens locations in the United States, including pharmacists, technicians, and support staff, plan to strike between Monday and Wednesday.
According to the network, which cited workers in three states, some personnel intend to strike for one day while others anticipate closing their pharmacies for all three.
The story stated that the strike was in protest of what pharmacy personnel described as onerous prescription and immunisation requirements put on pharmacists.

In an email answer, Walgreens stated that it was involved and paying attention to the issues brought up by certain of its team members. “We are making significant investments in chemist wages and hiring bonuses to attract/retain talent in harder to staff locations,” the business stated.
